The Duomo with its terrace, the Scala, the Sforza castle and the citi was beautiful, the people were nice, the food was excellent, the canals were nice, the markets and the Leonardo museum were enjoyable.........etc We didn t see the "Last Supper" due to the excellent high price, and we have already eated better ice cream in other italian towns and countries. We like opera, but the their program wasn t likely for us. We missed Pavarotti from the Opera s Museum. We hade only one unpleasant experience. The Getyourgide person in the Opera looked and smalled like a homeless. His small could be felt in the whole room! It was terrible! The safety was good. The airport was enjoyable too. Crowded with shops, (buthelers, ice cream, Mac Donalds...) but you can enjoy live piano music too! These Italians! Sometimes we will return yet!

Milan is a vibrant city. The locals were very accomodating. It was quite pricey in the more touristy areas and you really needed to book in advance for any thing you wanted to do if you are there for a short time. We loved the canals at Navagli. This is a lovely area with some wonderful restaurants. We took a day trip to the lake como. The travel was insanely busy but 100% worth it!! Wish we had more time there to stay longer. We also did the QC Terme spa. I would really recommend this and would suggest you pay for the Wellness Lunch - as this was divine and include unlimited GOOD coffee and wine.

Milan is awesome. Not only for fashion and luxury, but it's very modern and very Italian. Public transport is excellent, there's a great variety of bars and restaurants, people are nice and active. And of course, you have all the tourist attractions. I'd recommend taking a short trip to Como Lake from there as well.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!

we spent two weeks in Italy in different locations and Hotels, that was the worst by far. I called before we go to ask for a room with a bathtub because my back hurts they said my room has it but it didn’t. the room smelled so bad, after we complained and 2 hrs later they moved up to a different room. it didn’t have hot water and it is winter. it was really bad experience I will never go there again. the stuff was horrible and not helpful at all.

The apartment was fantastic and I have been Italy for 3 weeks and this by far has been the cleanest apartment as of yet everything is brand new the air conditioner actually works and there is even Comcast in the room. Perfect variant for this price. Excellent location - close to train station where easy to get from airport and you can go to any city in Italy. But it’s better to use subway or tram to get city centre. Good apartment with everything that you need for leaving and cooking - wine opener and dish (even things for cooking pasta). Warm apartment enough. But if you need you can find many blankets in the wardrobe.

Our wonderful host Andreia and Sandra were the most welcoming people I've ever met in Italy. The apartment was clean, well-organized, and had everything that we needed. The apartment is located about 20 minutes (by walk + subway combined) away from the center of Milan, so there are ups and downs. I would say if you like a quieter residential area, then this place is going to suit your need.
